Are you teaching rhyme and syllables? These low-prep phonological awareness board games can be used to help students to identify how many syllables are in words, as well as identify words that rhyme. These games will make a fantastic addition to your literacy centers and phonics rotations!
How to play:
Place the cards of your choice on the game board of your choice. Students roll a dice and pick up a card- they need to answer correctly in order to move along the game board.
For syllable cards- identify how many syllables.
For rhyming cards- identify at least one rhyming word.
There are also four game cards to add an element of fun to the game:
